Prof. Tosso Leeb from the University of Bern will talk about 'Precision Medicine in Dogs – Identification of Causal Genetic Variants for Hereditary Diseases'. Location: Vetmeduni, Lecture Hall B oder Collaborate.

Tosso Leeb’s research interest focuses on the identification of genetic variants that control heritable variation. His group has identified more than 50 causal genetic variants for Mendelian traits in domestic animals with an emphasis on coat color and inherited disorders of the skin. Leeb works in several species including cattle, cats, dogs, goats, horses, pigs, and sheep and has contributed to the international horse genome project.
