We arrange a farm visit, during which a comprehensive examination of all relevant parameters is carried out.

Depending on the type of farm, a checklist is used to determine, for example.

• Milk production: milk yield, milk protein and milk fat content, cell counts
• Feeding: feeding, silage management, water supply
• Housing: housing system, hygiene, management
• Udder health: milking procedure, shell test, bacteriological examination

The services of ARGE Problembestandsbetreuung are initially offered in the provinces of Vienna, Lower Austria, Burgenland, Styria and Upper Austria. In individual cases, however, farms in other provinces can also be supported.

The costs to the farm resulting from the supervision relationship are variable, depending on the nature of the problem, the distance to the university, and the amount of supervision required.

The services offered include a farm inspection, the recording of all parameters of husbandry, feeding and management, as well as the writing of a report and a follow-up consultation.
