Increasing the percentage of women and people with disabilities and chronic illnesses
With the aim to increase the proportion of women, especially in management positions, and to achieve a balanced ratio between the number of women and men working at the university in accordance with § 41 Universities Act 2002, especially among the academic staff, Vetmeduni explicitly invites qualified women to apply. In the event that women remain underrepresented (less than 50%), female applicants who are equally suitable as the best-suited male competitor will be given priority unless there are compelling reasons to select a specific male applicant.
Vetmeduni is a proud holder of the “hochschuleundfamilie” certification for its measures to balance studies, work and family life, and we welcome applications from people with family skills, disabilities and chronic illnesses. If you have any questions, please contact our representative for people with disabilities, Mr. Franz Mitterbauer.
There is no fee for submitting an application. Applicants are not entitled to reimbursement of travel costs or accommodation expenses incurred in connection with the application procedure.
