Marianne Zaruba

Studied Food and Biotechnology at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna. Afterwards I worked at the Institute of Pathophysiology , Medical University of Vienna, on the “Entry Pathways of Human Rhinoviruses” and completed my dissertation.

In 2015 I joined the Institute of Virology at University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna. In the Group of Christoph Metzner we are working on the modification of lipid envelopes of viruses and similar vesicles; in the Group of Till Rümenapf we are working on PRRSV diagnostics.
