Our Lab is located in the beautiful campus of the Vetmeduni Vienna, the only university in Austria focusing on veterinary medicine including animal and public health. About 1400 employees and 2300 students work on the campus. The Vetmeduni provides researchers and clinicians with a cutting-edge infrastructure to ensure excellence in research, teaching and animal health care.

Research topics go beyond veterinary medicine and include molecular medicine, pharmacology, biomedicine, biotechnology and bioinformatics. Since 2009 the Vetmeduni is involved in a number of FP7-, H2020- and ERA-Net projects as well as in projects financed by the European Structural Funds.

Our Lab currently runs several national projects (FWF-stand alone projects, Herzfelder, Zukunftskolleg) and participates in a renowned SFB focusing on JAK/STAT and the epigenomic landscape.
