Centre for Pathobiology: At the interface of health and disease

The Centre for Pathobiology is dedicated to understanding infectious and non-infectious diseases. Ongoing research projects focus on the interactions between pathogens, host immune responses and associated tissue changes. There is a strong emphasis on the analysis of host-pathogen interactions. Therefore, comprehensive methodological approaches from the macroscopic to the molecular level are leveraged. Gained knowledge is used to develop new diagnostics and therapies.
