We do not take on any routine herd management tasks in livestock farming. However, the University Clinic does offer its support in the diagnosis of diseases and stock advice as part of its services. 

In consultation with the veterinarian in charge of the herd, it is possible to send patient animals to the University Clinic for Swine for further diagnostics or to carry out a joint farm visit.

In both cases, all measures are carried out in coordination and close cooperation with the veterinarian in charge of the herd.

The University Clinic for Swine also works closely with other institutes of the Vetmeduni, the animal health services and other non-university institutions (e.g. private laboratories) in this area.

This cooperation offers reliable support in the clarification/treatment of questions and problem cases.
