The FileSender service is a web-based application for exchanging large amounts of data (files) via the Internet.

This service is operated by ACOnet, the Austrian science network, and the data is stored on a server of the University of Vienna for the period of time you define (up to 5 days).

The data transfer FROM and TO the server is encrypted (TLS). Authentication is via Shibboleth.

This means that all university members can log in to this service with their Vetmed account and use it. Simply select the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna from the list of institutions provided, enter your Vetmed user name and password and you can use the service and invite external persons as guests so that they can send you files.
