For students from our ERASMUS+ partner universities who would like to complete a study period of at least three and maximum of 12 months at the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna.

Please be aware that all undergraduate veterinary courses are ONLY offered in GERMAN language.

Students interested in applying for a study abroad period, should send an e-mail to international@vetmeduni.ac.at and provide the following information:

• required subjects and extent in terms of hours and ECTS Credits for lectures / practical training
• is prior knowledge available in those subjects?
• Is it wanted / necessary to pass exams at Vetmeduni Vienna?
• Time frame of planned study abroad period (winter semester, sommer semester or entire study year)

Application deadlines

June 1 for the winter semester (October till January/Febrauary)

November 1 for the summer semester (March till June/July)
